Why is Dumbutt Doug back?? So if he faked his death, where has he been??

Has he been in rehab/AA this whole time? I like him better dead!

Whose body did they find in his car wreckage? Wouldn't he have been too drunk to even do that? I hope he's a ghost 👻! Or evil twin... that would be more fun than him being alive!!??

It seems like there would be too much to try to explain if he's not dead?? I mean, I know it's a soap, but still..,. what would be his motive for faking death ☠️? I really don't think Vanessa would go back to him! Help!!
