Drinking 🍸

Is it just me, or do you think that there's a lot of drinking 🍸 going on on the show? Donnell is 20 years old and is now sitting in a casino room drinking. Anytime of the day or night, there's drinking going on. What do you think 🤔

Dani appreciation. Probably my second post on her lol

She just exudes MOTHER. Genuine, kind, caring and thoughtful. She’s spicy and sharp like any Cheddar but baby she has a good soul. Her character and seemingly herself seem so loving.
The way she held Ashley and cared for her and in so many of her other scenes. She is the perfect hype woman. Always with a big smile. 💕💕

Cotillion

The drama with the cotillion Platinum Deb is camp, low stakes, but camp at heart. This whole episode is. I’m going need the writers do this but kick up the drama!

Out of all the characters you choose to kill off Derek in my opinion that was a big mistake there was other original characters there like Jacob but one of the other cops yeah could have took them out but y'all chose to take off there Derek shameful.

Again, I Have No Pity For Ashley

If Ashley wants to know how all of us have gotten to this horrible place, she needs to look only in the mirror for starters!

I am beyond upset to see what happened to Derek. And to add insult to injury, I now have to watch today's episode seeing her cry for sympathy.

This is not okay. This shit pissed me off.

Saw this today and I have to say if this is true, this storyline is about to get super messy. If he does come back, then why do you all think Doug’s returning? Is he the Impaler? Was Vanessa and Doug secretly working together to get rid of Joey? Thoughts?

Character theories today: any of them actually seem believable?

There are so many theories flying around right now about what happened in the warehouse, why it happened, and who was involved. Donell, Elon, Kat, Tomas, Bill, Marcel, etc. Most of them seem way off to me.

Does anyone think somebody has actually pieced together the real story yet? Curious which theories people think are most likely and why.

EDIT: Or any other theories floating around that are out there but could have merit? Someone at work said they thought it was Dr. Monica — THAT would be a massive shock but I can’t rule it out. I don’t even think anyone would suspect her.

Who Dunnit

Let’s play the game Who Dunnit. We know facts of who the Impaler isn’t, so let’s name and discuss who we think it is. So, I got to thinking that Doug was “killed” in the car accident, so what if Deanna is needing the plasma for him! Could she be the Impaler, I mean she has shown to be a very strong minded female. Kial or Carlton, but why? What purpose would they have? And then, I hate to even say this name…. Nicole! For the life of me I can’t imagine what purpose she would have, what she would gain, but where is she??? She received the urgent call, left in a hurry and hasn’t been seen since! Her Granddaughter was crowned, and she never called or congratulated her (as far as I remember seeing). Nicole is very involved with the family and I can’t imagine her leaving like that unless it’s something crazy. The VIP car was said to have sped off (I think), so is she “in hiding?” I’m gonna have to go back and watch her reaction to when Smitty broke into her office to look at her laptop. Looking back, does anything she may have acted weird about it? So, what’s everyone’s thoughts about Deanna?? Before anyone say, “I need to get a life” 😂 I’m a retired RN that lives in the country, and has nothing to do all day but watch all these beautiful people with my cats until my hubby comes home from work. Let’s have some fun, and solve this mystery together 💕

They did a FABULOUS JOB with the Cotillion scenes! Bravo, Team!

Often, in life as well as in soaps, when an event is built up so much in advance, one’s expectations will almost NEVER be met: the hype is too huge! But was I ever pleasantly surprised—and delighted—to finally see the Cotillion episodes this week and…..it BEAT EXPECTATIONS!!!!

We have all read how tight soap schedules are so even more praise goes to all the worker bees behind the scenes that collaborated to bring us viewers the experience we were hoping for! The gowns were (for the most part) gorgeous, and I looked up every one of them on worn on tv and they surprisingly (to me anyway) were NOT all high-end couture! Many were from low-priced affordable sources, including June’s shimmering blue strapless!

The choreography for the dances was really fun and we really got the sense of a major society event. AND, they successfully made that ballroom look full, unlike so many other soaps that throw 10 people in a room and try to make the audience think there are crowds.

Fun, fun and more fun! Congrats to ALL OF THEM!!!!!

Just when I finally started to like Derek, he's gone on to The Upper Room. He may be gone (for now because... Soaps) but his obsessively in love with Ashley self will not be forgotten. Let's send him home in style: What are y'all bringing to Derek's celebration of life potluck? What are y'all wearing? Which character will be unexpectedly weeping & travailing? What's your toast to Derek?

I'll start: I'm bringing a few plastic barrels of Great Value cheese ball puffs, because there can never be enough snack foods at events like this. Leslie will be travailing because she will never miss a moment to be the center of attention.
