I'm prepared to accept any hate
Vernon Dupree is the most boring, uninteresting patriarch in soap opera history.
Edit: Looks like this opinion isn't as unpopular as I thought.

You know why I don't like Electra or Dylan? Because they're both right!
Electra is right about Dylan and Dylan is right about Electra.
When Dylan bad mouths Electra, I can't disagree. When Electra talks smack about Dylan, I can't disagree.
Bill and Wyatt are right, Will should move on from Electra. Katie is right to be suspicious of Dylan, especially after everything the family went through with Luna.
But alas, Will is too friggin stupid to realize that he needs to stay away from Electra and Dylan.
By the way, in real life, any guy friend of Will would tell him to get away from the sh*t show that is Electra & Dylan. They'd tell him he doesn't need the drama and there's plenty of females out there that would love to be with him.
This is your reminder that if RJ and Electra get married her name will be... Electra Forrester-Forrester 😁
As some have pointed out, the Dylan love seems to be more about Electra hate. But is there more to it?
Is it that people are really enjoying Sydney? Sure, but the posts are all about defending Dylan not Sydney's performance. Is it because they think Dylan is better for Will than Electra? But we just saw the not so subtle hint that Dylan is interested in the Spencer money, so that doesn't make sense anymore.
I expected to see a lot more skepticism about Miss Dylan after Tuesday's episode, but nope.
I don't get it. It's not like we're talking about Hope or Steffy or some other well-established character. Melissa Dylan is relatively new and her history is unknown. They just showed her ogling the Spencer mansion and super yacht, she then went to Will's house and walked in uninvited and unannounced, she even went toward his bedroom looking for him. And it's being implied that she has something shady in her past. Again, where's the skepticism? Why the vigorous defense of an unknown?
By the way, Katie behaved like any mother would, especially the mother of a wealthy young man. She went into Mama Bear mode, protecting her cub from a possible threat. Why is Katie getting hate for this? Consider that Katie doesn't know Dylan, Will is rich, Dylan just walked into her son's home, the Spencer family recently dealt with a young woman obsessed with Will, and Katie knows that Dylan was with Will when he was an emotionally distraught mess. What mother wouldn't grill that girl?!
I thought I'd see more people join the "I don't like Dylan or Electra" team. Electra is immature and whiny, Dylan is shady. Will has issues that need to be dealt with, he needs to stay away from both of them.
One last thought. If some people are rooting for Dylan because they want her to be shady & sneaky, they want her to inject some hijinks into this poorly written triangle...THAT I DO UNDERSTAND! It is a soap opera after all, shady characters are required.
Or is it simply, truly, all about hating Electra.
Everyone is aware that this Will, Electra, Dylan thing is a repeat of Liam, Hope, Steffy right?
There are some differences, some similarities, but it's the same friggin story with inferior writing.
The dumbest things were Dylan living with Will, and Electra's freakout over the jewelry line.
There was absolutely no reason for her to live with Will, that was plot-driven nonsense. Dylan should have gone to work at Forrester from the beginning and that's how she should have fallen for Will. Dylan should have been staying with Electra at the Forrester estate. Why is your best friend living at your boyfriend's house when there's plenty of room at your place? Donna and Eric would have been fine with it. "Sure Electra, of course your best friend who's down on her luck can come stay with us".
Then there's Electra's unhinged freakout over Will not telling her about Logan's jewelry line. What a ridiculous excuse for a breakup. Really, was that the best they could come up with?
And finally, I obviously don't speak for everyone, but none in the current triangle is likable. Liam, Hope, and Steffy all had likable qualities and let's keep it real, the acting chops on those three was better than the current trio.
Unlikable characters + bad writing = inferior triangle
This post was inspired by the increasing number of folks comparing Dylan's behavior to Steffy's.
Sidenote: I love Hope & Steffy. I cannot stand Dylan or Electra.

My initial suspicion that Dylan is shady has come back big time. I know everybody is rooting for Dill over Willectra because Electra is an exhausting whiny brat, but something ain't right about Miss Dylan. Red flags! 🚩 🚩
Will is a catch. Handsome, rich, generally a nice guy. He shouldn't be rebounding with Electra's questionable friend.

Let's take a trip into fantasy land shall we. Say you were given the authority to retcon any major plot point. You were authorized to go on social media and announce to the fans "By the power vested in me I am officially retconning _____". Or better yet, you could travel back in time and make Bell do whatever you wanted him to do with the show. What would it be, what would you change?
Here are some examples: Making Ridge a blood Forrester again. Bringing Phoebe, Aly, Macy, Caroline 1, Caroline 2, Becky, Storm, or Stephanie back to life. Thomas's obsession with Hope never happened. Spectra is still up and running. Liam's tumor was real and he actually died. Quinn and Eric are still married. Here's one I see from Still fans... Bill is Kelly's father. There's a gazillion possibilities.
One I would pick is never killing off Phoebe. There was no point to it then and all these years later it still feels like a bad decision.
Edit: I thought we could have a little fun with this as a nice change of pace from the current rage-baitng storylines. And the responses have been very interesting and fun. So mission accomplished!
Will has been drinking. Will is distraught over the loss of his girlfriend whom he still deeply loves. Will is distressed because he's worried that accidently punching an 80 year old man may cost his mother her relationship with her sisters.
Dylan, thirsty as hell, swoops in like a vulture to pick up the scraps.
I know many people liked it because you want to see Dumblectra get some comeuppance, but Electra's lameness doesn't make what Dylan is doing less gross. Dylan is being pathetic, desperate, and shady. She's debasing herself so she can get into Will's pants. And as I've said before, whatever this is with Dylan is just angst for Willectra. Dylan at best will be second choice.
Organ transplants, cancer, diabetes. I can't take it anymore!
I'm fine with raising some awareness but good grief, BTG is laying it on thick! Yo, I don't want to be reminded of all life's ills while trying to enjoy a little escapism.
Sorry but I lost it a couple minutes ago when I saw Eva and Chelsea doing a PSA on organ transplants. Had to come here and rant. Rant over.
This is an unbiased assessment. How is it unbiased you ask? Simple, it's unbiased because I DO NOT LIKE RJ or WILL. RJ is a douchebag, Will is a moron.
First punch at Bikini. Will & RJ were trading insults as usual, then Will gives RJ a shot to the ribs. Like RJ or not (and I've only seen maybe one person who does like him) that was a sucker punch. That was the literal definition of a sucker punch.
Second incident at Will's house. That first punch was understandable. Will was having an intense emotional conversation with his girlfriend. RJ barges in, inserts himself in their business, hurls insults. Will, like most young men would, has enough and pops him in the face. Like I said, understandable. Emotions are high and testerone is up. However... RJ hit his head on a table on the way down. Will climbs on top of him and delivers five more blows to RJ's head. Not cool. And Will would have kept on hitting him if Electra hadn't stopped it. We're talking potential permanent injury, even death! The way Will delivered blow after blow to RJ's head after he was down was disturbing.
Third incident involving Eric. Look, this one was comparatively nothing. How could I say that when an 80 year old took a hit? Here's how. It wasn't a sucker punch, and it wasn't excessive disturbing violence. Will and RJ going at it verbally yet again. RJ's in his face interfering in his business with Electra. RJ hurls insults. RJ shoves Will. Will shoves back. We got ourselves a shoving match between two 20+ year old young men. Will takes another shot at RJ, Eric takes a stray because he got in between two guys having a pissing contest. It was an accident. It was a fair fight between RJ and Will and unfortunately Eric went down. I do give RJ a pass for popping Will afterwards because who wouldn't after somebody hit your very elderly grandfather.
So what to make of this. First, RJ is an entitled douche that needs to mind his own business and stop trying to schtup his cousin.
Second, Will has issues. Look at the second incident again. Look at his over-the-top Stella! moment when Electra walked out with RJ. Go back to episode 206 from July 7 where Will is talking to his mother after he beat down RJ. Will says "I don't know why I get like this". Go even further back to when Crew first joined the show. Will expressed how difficult it was for him and Katie when Bill left them to be with Brooke. And then there's Luna. Does he have trauma from that?
Will's punches ranked: The worse by far is the beach house, that was on a level all by itself. Second, the sucker punch at Bikini. Third the accidental punching of Eric. The only one that I found truly upsetting was the beach house. Eric looks like he's fine, just a little owie. Donna will nurse him back to health, and Forrester will milk it for all it's worth.
And where the heck was Deke? Didn't Deacon tell him to make sure those two idiots don't get out of hand? 😂
Final thoughts. Are we done with the violence or do they have more in store for the "Will is violent" narrative? Is Will going to therapy? Please don't send him to Taylor! 😱
If, or should I say when, Electra & Will get back together, Will should be let go. He'll be determined to "do right" by Electra and spill the beans about whatever is going on at Logan.
He clearly can't be trusted with company business.
One more thought. Who's to say he can be trusted even now that he and Electra are broken up? What if he tells her something about Logan to try and earn her trust and win her back.
Y'all know I'm right 😂
And for the record: I don't like Will, Electra, RJ, or Dylan. So no one can accuse me of bias. How can I be biased when I don't like any of these losers? But Will is being particularly annoying at the moment because of all his whining over Borelectra. Shut up Will! Good grief!
If you're really a fan of Dylan, why would you want her to be with this moron Will Spencer?
Will is hung up on another woman, Dylan would be a rebound. And if the show is trying to make these three the next big triangle l got news for you, Dylan will be the perpetual second choice.
Now if you want her with Will just to stick it to Electra, that's understandable. But if you really like Dylan, I think you might wanna root for her to stay away from that idiot Will Spencer.
Sheila misses their little apartment, it was her home.
Here's a question: Why did Sheila leave? Deacon's the cheater. The cheater is the one who's supposed to gtfo!
Deacon should have said humbly "I'll go". If Sheila said "No I'll leave, you stay" then Deacon could remain in the marital home. But that jerk didn't even offer to leave. So on top of everything else Sheila was dealing with, her husband leaving her for the psychiatrist she trusted, she's had to look for other living arrangements too.
Deacon and this idiotic version of Taylor suck.
Btw, Taylor is a crap psychiatrist. World-renowned my butt! 😂
Brooke bringing up Zende like she or the Forresters give a crap about him.
Zende at best is an afterthought to the Forresters.
Free Zende!
When Katie was trying to get Hope to stop wavering and hop enthusiastically on the Logan train, why didn't she bring up that she (Katie) is the reason HFTF exists in the first place?
What a wasted opportunity by Bell and the writers to remind Hope and the audience that Katie gave Hope her fashion career.
Everything Katie said today punctuated with something like "Hope, we started this together remember, let's go forward together".
However you view it, a reminder to Hope or a not-so-subtle emotional manipulation, it would have been a cool factoid to drop into the dialogue.
What is up with Will's goatee and the earrings? And will he be dressing like this from now on too?
Are they trying to give him a new persona or something?
I don't like it, makes him look like a guy that's trying too hard to look like a badass. Shave that chin young man and take those earrings out! 😂
Your thoughts?
Edit: He looks like a dirty 90s grunge guy who's probably been arrested on drug charges a few times.
If he showed up at my house to take my daughter out, I'd slam the door in his face. But maybe I'm just old-fashioned. 😂
This is for those of you who don't know of the uncanny resemblance between RJ and hunky vamp Emmett Cullen from the Twilight Saga.
This is why I, and many of us, immediately thought of a vampire when new RJ first stepped onto the screen. I couldn't quite put my finger on a specific vampire then somebody mentioned Twilight and I said to myself "Oh yeah, that's who he reminds me of! That Emmett guy"
When posting these pics I got confused about who was who a couple of times. I'm not even joking. 😂

I've been saying this the past couple of days:
Will being fired is completely plausible, realistic, expected, and justifiable.
RJ being a smug douche is irrelevant. If you sucker punch the boss's son you are gonna be fired. Try it IRL and see what happens.
Sure it was satisfying for most to see Junior take a hit, but Will expecting zero fallout from that punch reiterates how dumb he is. Will walked into work the next day like nothing happened and was actually surprised that he was fired.
Personally I can't stand either one. Will's stupidity and RJ's smugness make both incredibly unlikable. Whatever happened to young adult characters that you could root for?
