Dating again and I’m a dumb
My (F26) long term boyfriend died last year. We sent photos and things regularly…. I started talking to someone around 2 months ago and have heavily flirted since. This is the first guy it hasn’t felt wrong with since my boyfriend passed. I was trying on clothes I bought and told him as much. He said “give me a show” and my brain went south real quick- I sent a suggestive photo and he replied “not the show I meant but I’m okay with it” and now I am MORTIFIED. I felt so dumb and then guilt crushed me immediately after because I instantly compared that response to what my late boyfriend would’ve responded. Dating is weird. Especially after a long term relationship- how do you flirt casually after being in a serious relationship for so long? And how do you not compare the new relationship with the old? Helppp
