Event for Seniors @ Atwater Park 4:00 pm today!
Hello! I'm a senior in high school, and I need to collect advice from seniors for a final project in one of my classes. All of the nursing homes that I've called so far have unfortunately not given me approval. Therefore, I decided to gather elderly individuals in a public place!
Where: Atwater Park in Shorewood
When: 4:00 on Saturday 5/23 (today). The event will last around half an hour. People can leave when they're done giving advice or stay and chat with other elderly citizens!
What: I need 20 seniors to fill out 5 slips of paper each (one per topic) with their first names and one to two sentences of advice. The 5 topics for advice are relationships, education, recreation, daily habits, and financial literacy.
Why: Refreshments will be provided!
Please reach out to elderly people who you know nearby and encourage them to show up!! It's a very chill event. If 20 people do not show up today, then I'll have to rerun the event tomorrow.
