I wasn't sure about this tradition at first, thought it might be cheesy. Seeing guys like Malcolm Jinkens being invited to ring it at this weekends game however has me pretty fired up about the concept. Creating a way to connect the younger generations to the depth of Ohio State greats can only be a good thing. I haven't experienced it yet in person so I'm interested to hear others thought. Does the crowd embrace it and get fired up or does it kinda just happen with out a lot of reaction as people shuffle to their seats????

Improving the teams yards after catch (YAC) was a significant focus area this past off-season. I had to listen to the game on the radio​ so I didn't get a good feel of play by play details. How did the team do? I saw Legend dust some fools, was anybody else impressive, did Smith call routes that were conducive to generating YAC?

My wife has offered to take a buddy and I into columbus for a game and then pick us up. We will be staying to the east at buckeye lake. Where is a relatively easy drop off pick up location. We don't mind walking through tailgate areas to get the full effect.
