🥹—What a journey!
Story time: I bought Monstera cuttings in 2024. It was fine for a little while, but then one leaf turned yellow. Tried troubleshooting before things got worse, but nothing worked. Every leaf after the first turned yellow. I was disheartened because this was my dream plant long before I started buying them. Wanted to try again but was scared that I was gonna have the same experience, so I waited until I felt comfortable to get another one.
Fast forward to March 27, 2026. The small one that I ordered arrived. Named him Lëche Divo and then took the first photo pictured above. I knew that he was going to need time to adjust to the new environment, so I put him on a stool with my other plant babies and just let him be. One bottom leaf dropped off during the adjustment period, and then on April 25, 2026, Lëche put out his first new leaf! 😊🫶🏾. Needless to say I’m one HAPPY plant Mama!
