Chanterelles?
I decided to go out and looks for mushrooms for the first time. I did a bit of research and was honestly hoping to find a giant puffball or maybe COTW, but came across these instead. I think they are golden chanterelles. Found in Ouachita National Forest, arkansas. There was a mix of pine and oak trees mostly in the area. They were all found on dirt as far as I could tell. Most of them have solid stems but I found one that has a hollow stem (picture included). I noticed some that looks very similar except for the fact that they had no gills, would these ones be smooth chanterelles (last two images).
