Artist Robert Wyland sues FIFA over destruction of Dallas “Whaling Wall” mural
Artist Robert Wyland spent decades painting murals worldwide to raise awareness for ocean conservation. The city of Dallas and FIFA painted over Ocean Life in anticipation of the World Cup. Wyland is suing FIFA (among others) for $25 million under the Visual Artists Rights Act of 1990 (VARA).
He’s not a *celebrity* like we usually post around here, but I for sure know of his work and have for a long time.
