New to the teaching world. My wife just finished her school year. She is on a 9 month contract payed out over 12 months. She finished the school year. Submitted a resignation and will be switching to a different school system next year. My question is whether the contracts run for the school year (‘25/26) or per calendar year (01/01-12/31)? If it’s for the school year should she still get her paycheck through the summer since she finished out the school year?

I’m 47 male. Currently, 401k has approximately $500,000. I max out contributions every year 1/2 in traditional and 1/2 in Roth. My employer does a profit sharing based off of my gross income which is an additional approximately $18,000 a year. Also, separate IRA rolled over from previous job with approximately $100,000. If I continue current contributions, how much should I anticipate to be I. Accounts at 65?
