Hi, I'm thinking of doing a dual degree in justice, maybe with law, business or human services. Just wanna know what the experience has been like so far x

Hi, I’m 20F and feeling lost about my future. I chose humanities subjects in high school and considered social work, law, and psychology. After a youth pastor told me I’d bring hope to people, I took it as a sign to study law, even though I wasn't truly interested. I started a criminology diploma as a pathway, but realised I hated it, fell behind, and began failing classes.

Eventually, I deferred my studies. I have been praying to God for a sign or anything, but I feel unheard. I feel like I'm disappointing both God and my immigrant parents, who keep pushing me to do law bc I will make a lot of "money". Most of my friends are in their 3rd year of uni, so I feel left behind.

I don't have my own community atm, so any advice would be appreciated. Sorry if it sounds all over the place.
