Has anyone joined as a post partum RN without labor and delivery experience and been able to stay in OB? I have over 5 years of PP/Newborn Nursery RN experience but no labor and delivery. I'm curious what this would look like for me. I've reached out to a recruiter for answers but waiting to hear back. Thank you
I'm looking into commissioning into the Nurse Corps but I have chronic migraines, not intractable, and without aura. However, I do take daily Qulipta, and as needed Nurtec. I have roughly 3-4 migraines a month that's managed once the nurtec has been taken. This is all documented recently by my neurologist last month. I understand I would need a waiver and I know it's a case by case basis but does anyone have a similar experience? I haven't missed a day of work in over 8 months and it was not even migraine related.
