How would you classify a semantic relationship in which one element is a process and the other is a fundamental tool for that process? Something like "surgery" and "scalpel", for example.

This isn't exactly homework help, but for the sake of transparency: I'm doing my Master's and using a terminology management tool for the first time. I'm working on a project, and one of the steps is creating a semantic map, which is how I stumbled on this question. To be clear, I'm not being evaluated on whether I got the relation between each element right, I'm just asking this question because I'm trying to understand this better.

The options for types of relation in this tool are hypernym/hyponym, meronym/holonym, product/producer, process/objective, cause/effect, transformer/transformed, class/instance, and generally related. I also have the option of adding other types of relations if none of these fit.

I briefly considered that it could be a meronym/holonym relation, but that feels very clunky. How would you classify it?

My mom was a painter before passing away, and recently we found some of her unfinished paintings. One painting in specific really caught my eye, and I know that she often replicated paintings (not to sell as fakes, just for the love of the art) so I'm wondering if that might be the case here. If so, I'd be really happy to find the original so that I can imagine what it would have looked like if she had gotten a chance to finish it.

The painting depicts a person (a man?) carrying what looks like a dead animal on his shoulders, like in those images of hunters carrying the deer they just killed. The animal kinda looks like a fox (it has a snout and fox-like ears, but the legs are a bit too long. It's also reddish, but I'm trying not to go off of color since it is unfinished. I just noticed it has a long tail so I'm thinking it might be a feline?)

The man carrying the animal is being "attacked" on all sides by four or five black birds (I put attacked in inverted commas because it looks like they're probably going after the dead animal he's carrying)

There's not much going on in the background, just some muddy, light greenish tones

I wish I could say she focused on a specific artist or era, but as far as I can remember her interests were very broad, and she owned books talking about various periods and styles. Not sure how much this helps, but the only painting that I know for a fact that she replicated before was The Family of Saltimbanques by Picasso.

I know this might not be the right subreddit to ask, but I didn't know where else to look
