What if Joker got the cure first in Arkham City?

If Harley was able to give Joker the cure after stealing it from Freeze do you think Joker would have saved Batman?

One of most underrated BB songs. What's your favorite vegetable? Mine's onion 🧅 Did people actually send the boys letters in the mail with the name of their favorite vegetable?

Would foreign recognition have won the war?

The Confederacy spend the first year and a half of the war attempting to gain recognition from other countries, namely Britain. Of course after Antietam and the Emancipation Proclamation the door was closed on recognition from Britain, but what how would British recognition have helped the South, specifically militarily? It’s not like Britain would ever send troops, would they send weapons? The goal of the Confederacy was to be seen as a new and legitimate country and if Britain did there likely would have been a stronger surge of Americans seeking peace with the South. Do you think foreign recognition would have worked the way the South intended?

Most interesting year of the Civil War?

1865 imo, 1864 if strictly talking battles. Sherman’s match through the Carolina’s, end of Petersburg, Army of Northern Virginia slowly suffocate to death/Appomattox. Lee’s surrender and start of reconstruction. The war ends a few months into the year but it is so interesting learning about the country as it transitions from the CW to Reconstruction.

Starting the Civil War bible!

Shelby Foote’s appearance on Ken Burns’ documentary helped get me into the Civil War. Can’t wait to read his narrative of the Civil War! If only there was an audiobook of him reading it…
