Whatsapp constantly crashing on Android
Hello, I've been experiencing a pretty annoying problem since yesterday. Maybe the recent update (16th of may) had something to do with it, but right after it was downloaded it seemed that WhatsApp was working for quite some time and then it stopped. Every time I try to open the app, it immediately crashes, it doesn't even open at all. I am using a pretty old phone with android 8, but in theory it should still be supported and should still be working. I have tried everything (restarting the phone, updating everything that can be updated, getting rid of that cache data thing) apart from uninstalling and reinstalling the app, because I didn't have any backups and I don't want to risk loosing all my chats. Has anyone else had a similar problem? 😭
