Hey friends,

Happy to share that our prologue miniseries wraps today.

We wanted to pilot a short format that gave a taster of what full show feels like, but keep the story contained, quicker to produce and something we could post on socials. We had a blast writing these and our lead actor, Joseph Dalfonso, acted the pants off of them (and there's a little cameo from another one of our actress Lexi Rabadi). We're really proud of what we came up with.

We also experimented with some simple video concepts. I'm far from a video editor, but I had a lot of fun figuring out how to process the footage to make it fit the time period of the show.

To celebrate The Dolos Project's upcoming premiere at the Tribeca festival (The week of June 8th), we’ve uncovered previously unheard recordings made by Dolos Station 769 Commander, David Cassidy. The exact timing is unclear, but context indicates that the recordings happened in the direct aftermath of the “event”.

We’ll be releasing a log Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the next two weeks leading up to the premiere event and drop of our pilot episode the week of Tribeca Audio.

Marcus Bagala here! You might know my work as a composer, sound designer and producer on audio drama projects on projects like Harley Quinn and Joker: Sound Mind, Quiet Part Loud, DC High Vol. Batman and most recently, I worked with the amazing Fred Greenhalgh composing the music for Star Trek: Khan.

But! Beyond my more technical work, I've been quietly building up my writing, directing and show running skills, and I'm happy to share that a project that my wife (and producing partner), Megan Bagala, and I have been developing for the last couple years is going to premiere it's pilot at Tribeca.

Here's the synopsis:

Just wanted to share our trailer, and our general excitement that after many years helping bring other folks stories to life, that we're going to be able to put something out into the world that came out of our own brains.

The pilot episode will be available to check out during Tribeca and then we're hoping to have the complete 8 episode coming later this year or early 2027.
