Looking for a budget editor to grow with for my horror gaming channel
Hey, I’m looking for an editor for my YouTube channel, AwesomeTom.

I want to be upfront that I’m looking for somebody I can grow with, not just throw footage at. I’m still building, still learning, and I’m not monetized yet, so this is not a full-time or salary type gig.
My channel is mainly horror games with humor, and I’m looking for light to moderate editing, not heavy VFX or super time-consuming edits. Mostly:
cleaner cuts
zooms on funny/scary moments
better pacing
simple preview/cold open
simple intro/outro
My main goal is still showing the full progress of the game, so I’m not looking for someone to over-chop the footage just to force retention. I want the full journey to still be there, just cleaner and more entertaining.
I also edit myself, so I’d want somebody who’s cool with me still being involved creatively. The first 30 or so videos on my channel were edited by me, so I’m mainly looking for someone whose work is more polished than mine and who understands the vibe I’m going for.

edit 2 to 2.5 hours of gameplay
preview/cold open
simple intro with the game title
main gameplay edit
basic outro
Budget: $100 per video
I know that’s not high-end retention-editing money, so I’m keeping expectations in the light/moderate edit range.

simple intro
first few seconds of gameplay
A paid test edit is fine too if needed, but I’d first like to see your current work/portfolio.
