Years in years dental visit hope this helps

Went to the dentist for the first time in years yesterday (since I was 16). I didn’t brush regularly like I should have. (Depression, low self esteem in general really messes with me, I would brush every once in a while)

Anyways hopefully this helps people who are on the fence who haven’t go in years so I had to get all four wisdom teeth removed(27F) because they were starting to cause me pain. The process went okay I was high on a kite, laughing gas and anesthesia. I would feel discomfort but that was mostly the pressure I would feel when the doc would removed the tooth, thankfully they all came out in tact. So far today is officially day 1 post op. I have minor swelling which I know people had said will peak eventually day 2-day 3. Been eating yogurt and taking my meds.

So what the dentist found was:

Wisdom teeth needed to be removed

2 cavities(honestly surprised me)

And I needed a deep cleaning due to plaque build up
