I just think it’s interesting how Matt has done an effort with the latest albums to create a complex concept that justifies what he is singing is not about his personal life and feelings as he wouldn’t want to talk personal matters in the interviews. But with this new album, he did little effort trying to disguise his thoughts in the songs, and he only has done one interview where he did not introduced us to any tale; he just directly said this is the most personal album and we will have a glimpse about how he was feeling. But we are not used to this transparency, so we are creating the tales and conspiracy theories ourselves haha. We got you Matt, we know the album is about aliens ;)
