I hate this subreddit

This sub's entire schtick seems to be to promote monarch

What really makes me hate this sub is the fact they refuse to acknowledge why monarchy declined over the years or it's flaws and simply blame it on something like the USA interfering, communism or some other thing

I've seen people on that the 1946 Italian referendum was rigged

I've seen people claim that France would be better off if the monarchy was reinstated

I've seen people on that sub say that the shah of Iran was a good ruler and that the monarchy should be reinstated

I've seen all sorts of delousnal rhetoric like people demonizing princess Diana.

Why do people think that the jury would have sided with Luigi mangione

I saw quite alot of comments saying that Luigi should have taken his chances with the jury sympathizing with his actions instead of taking a plea deal

But how likely is that? I'm not a lawyer and don't have that much knowledge In law but I feel like given how high profile the case is the jury would feel like if they decided not guilty that it would lead to a spike in so called "vigilante justice"

Also I'm pretty sure the evidence against him is quite significant it would be a massive gamble to just assume the jury would side with him despite the evidence against him.
