A80 Auto Brightness Persisting
Yet another auto brightness post, but this one is opposite of most: I understand why a screen would throttle down from high brightness frequently to prevent overheating even if auto brightness is off, but I have an inverse issue - I usually have my brightness almost all the way DOWN, and sometimes at random I'll just get flashbanged by my screen maxxing out the brightness on me, and when I go to check, I can confirm that auto brightness is in fact turned off. This happens seemingly at random, at any battery life level. I've had the phone for a couple of years now but this issue has plagued me from the start, and it keeps returning. Help... Please...?
EDIT: I just tested by pointing the screen into sunlight and it automatically maxxed out the brightness no matter what i did with the auto brightness setting. I get why, but i hate it because it doesn't shift back down and sometimes it'll just change for no reason like when I'm in a dark room
