If I opened an Amex Green card for the 40k point bonus and do the following:

1. Use the CLEAR+ credit immediately
2. let both the AF and CLEAR+ membership renew after 12 months
3. Receive the renewed CLEAR+ statement credit, then
4. cancel the card before the 13th month is completed and get my annual fee back,

Would the CLEAR+ renewal statement credit be clawed back since I'm trying to claim a credit during the grace period before I cancel the card? Is this one of those things that Amex technically can do but usually doesn't?

Don't want to take a risk since I truly don't care about CLEAR but I'll take for a second year if I know for sure that it won't be clawed back.
