I made a gamified chore app for kids with weekend "boss fights" to stop the cleaning arguments. Need your feedback!
Hey everyone, As a parent, I was tired of the daily battle over cleaning up toys and making beds. Traditional chore charts lost their magic after three days, so I decided to build something tailored to how kids' brains actually work: through gaming. I created Task Hero (Úkolníček), a mobile app that turns family chores into an RPG adventure. Here is how it keeps kids motivated: ⭐ Sunday Rewards: Kids earn stars for completing their daily tasks. Every Sunday, there’s a summary and rewards for the top helpers. 👾 Saturday Boss Fights: This is the core feature. Every Saturday, a monster called "The Mess Maker" appears in the app with a health bar (HP). The only way the kids can defeat the boss is by completing their Saturday chores together to drain its life. The app is live on Google Play, but since I have zero budget for marketing, the download numbers are still very low. I’m looking for honest feedback from other parents and developers. Does this sound like something that would help your family? What features should I add next? If you want to give it a try, search for Task Hero (or Úkolníček) on Google Play. I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions you have! Thanks for reading!
