Roast my surfing... everything
Hey guys, greetings from South Korea I’m a local surfer catching waves around the Gangwon area. As some of you might know, the wave quality and frequency here aren't the best compared to other world-class spots, so surfing is still pretty niche here. Because of that, it’s super hard to find proper coaching or get solid advice to level up.
I’ve been surfing for about 3 years now. My main log is a 9'0 Firewire TJ Pro (I know, I know... but who could resist after watching Taylor Jensen’s edits? 😂). And on days when the waves actually pump like in this video, I ride a 6'4 Donald Takayama Scorpion II set up as a thruster.
I’m so desperate to level up my riding, which is why I’m reaching out to you guys. Believe it or not... I’m actually trying to practice my bottom turn in this clip. Please don’t roast me too hard, and I’d appreciate any brutal honesty and advice on how I can improve!
