Avoid this a cappella groups on Campus if you're interested in music

Don't join this acappella group in campus if you're interested in singing

The Binghamton Crosbys heavily haze new members for at minimum 2 semesters and have no intention on stopping. They're basically a frat but for music people. Avoid them, join any other group if you're interested in acappella at Binghamton.

Edit: I'm mainly posting this because he refuses to report them and doesn't see it as hazing

Update to WIBTA for reporting hazing

Original:

posthttps://www.reddit.com/r/WIBTA\_AITA/comments/1t8644w/wibta\_for\_reporting\_a\_university\_group\_that\_hazed/

I reported the group after being pressured into it by others, including the school. But because of my morality and my deep caring for the people in the group, I told the president what I did, and what they were doing was wrong and that they needed to stop, and I tried to say how it affected me. There was more than I listed in the last post. But he didn't budge, he said it wasn't hazing, and when I tried to tell him how it affected me and the effect the hazing had on my emotional state, he told me not to shit-talk his group.

He's a good person, really, but he just refuses to see. So what comes next isn't on me, it's on him.

WIBTA for reporting a university group that hazed new members?:

So I had a mental breakdown back in August and as a repercussion I was kicked out of my a capella group. Now I'm pissed for multiple reasons, but I was considering reporting them for hazing that they have committed that goes against school policy.

The problem is they're friends with almost all of my friends and I still hold care for some people in the group.

But I don't want them to just get away with what they did and are doing.

It's sort of a right thing for the wrong reason, vengeance is bad, but reporting hazing isn't.
