Hello, first time posting. I'm trying to help my wife find a good, budget-friendly road bike, ideally between £300-£500. She is doing her first sprint duathlon in late 2026 and looking for something fairly basic but decent quality. I have an old specialized allez, which I use for casual bikes rides and completed a sprint triathlon with, so something similar to that would probably do the trick, but it's been a while since I looked at what's on the market and don't know if there are any specific considerations when it comes to women's bikes.
