Finally getting referred to Maxillo surgeon.
1ST Picture is me forcing my lower jaw all the way forward in a sitting position.
2ND Picture is my lower jaw in its natural resting state, my lips will not close without being forced due to overbite/overjet.
I got braces 1 month ago for overbite/overjet. I’m getting MSE expansion on Monday, and being sent to a surgeon to consult for DJS. I personally believe my top jaw is slightly recessed as well💛
I broke my nose at 8 years old and lost my ability to breathe almost at all through it so I breathed through my mouth my entire life with no tongue posture. I’m 26 now and finally getting a septoplasty/Turbinate reduction.
