Can anyone confirm that the Basilica Cisterna is closed today due to renovation work?

Here’s the background: We bought tickets through GetYourGuide and were told by a local tour operator that the attraction is closed today. As an alternative, they offered us four other activities to choose from. The strange thing is that all of them are cheaper, and there’s no mention of a refund.
