2 questions..
- Does anyone know who these eggs on my yarrow belong to?
- Is anyone else having a ton of mushrooms pop up in their mulch? I assume this is fine?

Hi! I looked through some old posts and don’t want to be redundant but some of them confused me since it seems the type of wood/age etc really matters in terms of what materials you use. Hoping for some guidance.
My house was built in 1941. The back of the door was completely painted over and it’s in a bathroom and looks cheesy. I have one downstairs that’s the same thing so I’d love to restore both. I love love love the door knobs and hinges and can’t believe someone painted over them! :( the paint on both doors seems wayyyy newer and I think the previous owners painted over everything before selling, so I don’t think it’s lead, but will wear PPE.
I’m in Colorado. I’m not used to restoring things because unfortunately the house was in such bad condition I had to replace a A LOT, but I think I’m down for some nitty-gritty work! Thank you in advance
I’m not able to add photos in this post so hopefully I can in the comments

My house was built in 1941. The last photo is what the door looks like, it’s beautiful and has paint splatter but that’s ok. Hi! My gutters are in shambles and it’s time to replace them, and I’ve been thinking about making a rain gutter garden (Pinterest pics below). Has anyone ever made one? It seems pretty straight forward, but wondering if anyone has any major pros/cons/difficulties they’ve experienced through time or from building, or in ground vs raised bed. I don’t want to use plastic! Thank you!
EDIT: I live in an arid climate, so it does not rain much but when it does it currently goes directly onto my foundation. I bought this house recently and am trying to improve things. I just learned about this when researching how the heck to replace gutters. It’s my first home. Please be nice!!
Hi friends! Newbie in this community and crafting with pressed flowers.
I’m experimenting with making some crafts just for myself, nothing crazy. I am using the self adhesive laminate paper, but it is staticky and my arrangements always stick to it and get moved around before placing it down. I just tried using a dot of gorilla glue (lol it’s just what I had in front of me) and it obvi looks bad on the paper (in the photo you can see the blot mark, and it’s dried).
So experts, I ask thee: how do you get your beautiful designs to stay put? Granted I haven’t tried much and am very new to this. Thank you!!
