Dealership asking to change the front rotor
I had my car (2023 Mazda CX-5 at 22,000km) regualar inspection at my dealership and they said my front rotor is rusting and needs to be changed. The video shows the said front rotor.
The cost is $750 ish.
I dont drive much and that caused the rusting... I googled a bit and some says just go driving and I dont have to change it, while the others say it needs to be changed if the inside is rusting and the mechanic says so.
I dont know much about the cars and I do regular inspection service suggested by the dealership every 4-6 month or so. I do not want to risk any and willing to change parts if necessary but they always try to upsell so I dont know what to believe really. Like, they recommend the alignment service every single time I go in.
I'd really appreciate any advice.
