I watch a lot of Twitch in fullscreen and wanted a way to read chat without the sidebar taking up space. Existing overlay extensions like Anu Twitch Chat still use a panel that covers part of the video, and i find the text small and hard to read.

So I built an extension that makes chat messages scroll across the screen from right to left, like on Niconico or Bilibili. This style is called danmaku.

What it does:

• Chat messages float across the video as scrolling text
• 5 animation modes, including a dynamic one that adapts to chat speed
• Customizable region so you can control where messages appear
• u/ mention highlighting
• Supports Twitch emotes and badges
• Works on live streams and VODs

Free, no data collection, all settings stored locally. Source code is on GitHub.
