How do you guys play this game?
I don’t mean how do you play it well, rather what gamemode do you normally play? I don’t like public team games (especially 10v10) frankly because I just don’t enjoy the idea of having to rely on people I don’t know, I can’t really play small team games such as 2v2s or the like with friends because I just don’t have that many online friends. Solo against AI doesn’t appeal to me either, since AI in these games suck.
So that just leaves ranked 1v1, which I do enjoy but an issue is that I’m simply not very good at the game. In fact, I used to play warno a little bit during EA, and stopped because it was quite demoralizing always losing in ranked. As a “new” (or rather, inexperienced) player, this makes it seem like the barrier for entry is quite high since frankly I’m not sure 10v10s help you improve at the game and neither does solo play (outside of learning the very basics like smoke, artillery micro, etc) and ranked while able to assist in self-improvement is somewhat demoralizing especially since the niche nature of warno means that it’s very likely to be matched against far better players even at low elo. So my question is, how do people, especially new players, normally enjoy this game? Is it mostly public lobbies or private, do new players usually queue in ranked, if you’re experienced, how did you acquire this experience, etc. Thanks in advance!
