For context I have an RBF, which I have told my parents multiple times and that I can be happy without looking like it, but they don't take it to heart apparently. Today my parents even sat me down to talk and tell me how both of them provide and the least I could do is smile, be jolly and make the atmosphere light.

Not gonna go into detail but our relationships are kinda toxic and not really on good terms right now, one reason is because I was tired of my boundaries always being broken, and now I'm fed up and tried starting my own peace and quiet, just neutral and they're not taking it (+ probably that I lock my door now, makes me feel safe but we've had argumentd before about it as they said it make them feel I was blocking them out...)
