1 EW and 1 NP, trying to go to Berkeley Econ
Hey everyone, this spring I have been struggling with my mental health, and I unfortunately had to submit a excused withdrawal from my English and then No Pass my Intro to Psyc class (I really could not muster the courage to finish the assignments) (I know, I am stupid). I just want to know if there's still a chance I could get into Cal. So far I am going to get an A in most of the classes needed for transfer (so far B for Calc I, A for Micro) in the summer and next fall semester. I am expected to have a 3.72 by the end of this spring with these drops.
For my ECs I just wrapped up a spring semester civic leadership / consulting internship and got the chance to work on higher education policy reformations, and I am going to be marketing intern for a social media app (same popularity as instagram). I've been teaching music at a middle school for a year and I also have a side business making content for businesses, non-profits, and music artists for almost 4 years now. I've also done pitch and case competitons at Berkeley, and one of the pitches I won . For the consulting internship program I was asked to be the marketing director and I accepted it. I also am going to be recruitment chair for one of the business clubs.
I'm probably not gonna make it, but I really need some sense of hope, I am going to take a ton of classes in the summer while juggling this full time internship, and then on top of that have to retake the classes just before fall ends so I can boost my GPA. I haven't and I really dont want to tell my family, one of my family members is an alum, and I truly feel like Im pinned against a wall right now. Im so freaking scared. I thought everything was going so well but I got so overwhelmed I completely shut off my mind. I simply just want to know if there's anyone that have been on this boat and what they did to overcome this pain. I really need reassurance, this has been killing from the inside for months now, I really want to go to this school ):
