Tiktok Shop Support Rant
I'm new to Tiktok shop. I was so excited to get my business up and running. I even got my LLC before I started everything.
When I first tried setting up, it said I was banned for "not enough followers".... after submitting various documents MULTIPLE times. It's like it a joke to the people working support. Anyway, it was a mess. I had to email support and finally got "unbanned". I didn't have followers because I didn't even have an account yet.
They sent a weird "our bad..... we fixed it" email. At that point, I was discouraged for months and decided I didn't want to mess with Tiktok.
Fast forward, I decided... what the heck. I'll set it up again. I ended up having to verify myself multiple times. Mobile ap and desktop had conflicting required documents.
Then, I finally think I'm verified and I get excited. I put up a flash sell. Then BAM. Restrictions for violations saying my shop and others had suspicious activities. The restrictions just said they were in "enforcement" but don't say for how long. One sentence repeats its self 4 times.
Support was no help at all. I reached out after submitting 2 appeals. They said my sample invoice looked "altered" and that humans reviewed it. They were actually pretty rude about it and still couldn't tell me how long the restriction should last.
