I recently applied for a role and landed an interview. A recruiter who I've worked with in the past for a different role at the same company contacted me about the new role.
I said I had already applied and gotten an interview. She said she told her contact at HR to think about me for future roles, so I should contact HR and say that she is representing me.
I'm trying to understand the pros and cons of me doing this. Could a recruiter help me get an offer when I've already received an interview?
