Face anatomy practice

Face anatomy practice

I've drawn 3 days in a row. I'm happy.

Not looking for advice or help right now (I know the perspective is wrong tho, but I don't wanna work more on it), I still have to get used to everything like I was 3 years ago, but if I continue like that I might be getting my skills back soon. 😄

I seriously searched for the artist that did the reference I took, but I found it on Pinterest, coming from an account that shared it, then it sent me to another account, who didn't even have the picture anymore... So I'm sorry but I don't know where it comes from. 😶

I discovered companion mode and it fixed my lenovo tablet

I've been using CSP for a few years now, but only on my computer with a graphic tablet. Some times ago, I bought a "classic" tablet for school and it's only this week that I've been wanting to draw with it so I don't have to install all my setup.

The thing is, I have a Lenovo IdeaTab Pro 😀 and those who own this tablet also know its biggest weakness: we can't do sh.t with the lateral button because we simply can't bind it like we want to. This button is litterally useless 99% of the time. And me being used to my wacom tablet and stylus totaling 6 buttons, not having the possibility to switch really fast to an eraser/transparency is really, really annoying...

And then while wanting to give it another chance tonight, I remembered the companion mode. I never tried it before and I checked it only once when it first came out, and OMG it's a lifesaver for my situation 😭😍

My right hand don't have to put down the stylus anymore, my left hand can do the changes! I'll have to get more used to it so I don't even have to see the buttons anymore, but I'm so happy to have found a solution!

Anyway, just wanted to share (and maybe help the few people in this world with the same situation)

Shroom

3 years ago i had officially started my artblock. I didn't really find joy in drawing anymore, and on day i just cleaned up my desk and left my drawing tablet on the side where I abandoned it for quite some time.

During these 3 years, I tried maybe 4 times to pick it up again, but nothing. And then this month I started working on a personal project that had me pick up my brushes, but since i'm a digital artist at heart it made me want to try again. The joy is back and damn it's good!

Ok, I'm not as good as I was before (not that I was a master in digital art anyway) but how I missed that feeling... So i'll try to stay consistent without ever overdoing myself like I could've done a few years ago. 👀

And here's what I did tonight (+-1h) (Technically I started yesterday with some anatomy practice but tbh you're never gonna see the results 😂 that may be where I regressed the most)

Sorry about the background, I had to stop because I'm a bit sleepy.

I don't think I'll try original content soon, as I would like to get used to everything again, but I'm looking for it! (And I love studies tbh)
