My late mother gave me this blanket for my daughter when she was born. Mum passed somewhat unexpectedly when my daughter was 6wks old and it is one of the few things she gave me so it is understandably very sentimental to me. After two years of love and snuggles, it desperately needs a wash. It doesn't have bodily fluids or anything on it, just a lot of love. The care label says do not wash but I feel like that's just because of colour/dye potentially running, and I don't think dry cleaning will do a sufficient job. Any suggestions on how I should go about testing if the dye holds and how to wash it?
