Pure wizzard build for solo utilizing maximum control?

What is a good solo wizzard build for balanced difficulty that uses the maximum amount of controll spells like dominate and hold and crown of madness etc? Like I can deal damage with spells and stuff but mostly use stuff to turn allies against each other and stun them then throw them off ledges and charm them and stuff like that, I really like enchantment's twin spell feature or maybe divination which makes things hit and miss, I'm thinking 12 of one of these and feats being dyal wielder and spell sniper and ASI and use the electric staff in act1 to deal damage with magic missiles and keep other spells as controll ones, but idk, please help out and thank you.

I know there is a bard subclass that does this but I wanna rp as a wizzard who wants to learn the power to control and stuff like thats why I want pure 12 yk.

What is a wizzard build idea?

I wanna play a power hungry good alignment wizzard who wants to become super powerful (I wanna give necromancy of thay to astarion for approval), but I god a bit bored of the lightning, ice or fire builds with sorcerer and wizzard builds, what are other builds that make the wizzard seem powerful not only damage wise but also controll wise like using controll spells like dominate and command and charm and other stuff, while dealing other types of damage like Necrotic and force and thunder (not lightning) and radiant and psychic, while still being good, I don't really need to be optimised or anything since I play in balanced difficulty, pls help and thank you In advance!

-another question if U can answer it please, I didn't want to make a separate post, I'm thinking of either going wizzard or ranger, and I'm a big fan of the ranger hunter vibes, but is hunter good? Like I know itt gets volley but that's very late game that you don't have much of the game left to use it, and also it's only good in AOE but not very good in single target bosses, is hunter good against single target bosses and pre volley?-

Thanks.

What are cool paladin choices other than greatsword?

I was thinking rapier and empty hand, I don't like using shields on a melee character I like to think I'm duelling instead of guarding so what are some other paladin choices other than great sword? Ones that work well

Why do oathbreakers have to be evil?

I was playing bg3 and I really liked the oathbreaker paladin subclass and how it feels like an anti hero or someone who had a noble reason to break their oath, I never even knew it was a thing in dnd! I thought u just atone or quest in order to get ur oath and powers back, but now that I searched about it a little I found out that in dnd oathbreakers are just an evil subclass, is it always the case? And where does their power come from, like a paladin gets his power from his oath, so does that make the oathbreaker get his power from the broken oath? Like the oath's light power turns to darkness? Please explain to me a but about this subclass and thanks

How does a contract with a devil or an entity mid campaign work in terms of levels?

I was wondering how it would work if players fought a devil in Avernus or something and managed to scare him enough for him to sign a contract that is in one of the PC's advantage, how would it work? Would that pc who is benefiting from it take a level or some levels in warlock if the contract offers power or will he just take extra effects and benefits like boosts or something? And if it's a contract to utilize a weapon for example would he get to be a hexblade warlock? Then he wild need 3 levels for the subclass which is weird since the contract is signed instantly, please explain to me how it would work I'm really curiouse and thanks!

A rapier build using charisma and control other than bard?

What is a build that uses charisma like sorcerer warlock paladin or swashbuckler or smt, that has high charisma and can use mind control spells like crown of madness and hold person and command and those kind of spells but mainly uses rapier for damage? I'm thinking 3 levels of sorcerer for subtle spell for more controll before entering fights and the rest in hexblade for swordfighting, or maybe instead of hex use swashbuckler or battlemaster and have good charisma, or maybe an enchantment wizzard with fighter.. idk something that has dexterity and charisma, can use controll spells and fights using rapier, what I wanna do with it is controll the field and the enemies as much as possible but be able to fight using rapier when a fight is inevitable or I need not waste my spell slots or sorcery points and/or be able to talk my way to my goal in other occations, I hope I explained the idea correctly please help! And thanks in advance :) (other than bard tho I played enough of it haha)

-just in case this kind of build wasn't very viable, I won't mind an enchantment wizzard build, like I said earlier controll the field and stuff, but instead of when it comes to fights I have magic instead of melee, or maybe a sorcerer focusing on controll or something like that, but the rapier version is very much preferable to me pls :D-

What's a build for an actual mastermind?

I'm looking for something like someone who pulls the strings or like acts as a mastermind yk, like idk if there are traps in the game or not but generally someone assassin like who instead of fighting head on I just controll enemies, for a better idea of what I have in mind, maybe an illusionist assassin like or swashbuckler as a rapier user kind of thing who shows a good heroic image but is aiming for what benefits him the most in terms of power and general gain while also being viable in combat in case I end up in an inescapable combat or I fail in a plan, I hope this gives an idea of what I'm looking for, I'm thinking charlatan background and idk what else tbh give me your idea please! And thanks in advance.

Hi! I wanted to play fire sorcerer and when I looked for builds I found that sorlock 11/1 is the better build but I dislike the idea that I'm getting power from another entity and the power is not naturally mins, like warlocks and clerics, so is there a way to explain having hexblade warlock dip in this build? I saw a guy say it could be a master duelist being a mentor and trapped in a sword that I use but I fail to see how that would give me access to magical abilities, Im thinking of something like I defeated a demon on my own which earned me his weapon and consumed it to upgrade my abilities further, but idk if that works lore wise, or maybe I should just go 12 sorcerer? How much of a difference in damage and viability will that make? Pls help and thank you!
