LUG Con 2026

Hello everyone,

I do not live in Atlanta or even Georgia for that matter, but I am considering attending Dragon Con or LUG Con and wanted all your opinions.

I am really big into TTRPGs mainly Call of Cthulhu and Cyberpunk and have really wanted to attend a TTRPG convention of some kind. I'd like to visit Gen Con, but for now it is a little too far for me.

Anyway I wanted to know everyone's opinion of the two cons, I know DC is larger but it also isn't limited to strictly table top games like LC. Would it be better for me to attend DC? I'm personally leaning toward going to LC only because I always love visiting newer cons when they are small and watching them grow like Momocon. But with both costing close to the same, I want to make sure I am not crazy choosing LC.

Let me know what you guys think.

Self Employed SEP IRA Confusion

Hey fellow pros,

I don't normally ask questions regarding specific problems, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with self employed SEP plans. If you are, would you be available for me to pick your brain?

I have a new client who is coming from basically a block and the bookkeeping alone was difficult to say the least, but the client would like to set up a SEP plan since a financial adviser stated there was massive amounts of tax savings available because of it (we all know this story).

I know a solo IRA may be better, but the client stated SEP or nothing.

I'm fine with setting it up, but I am slightly confused on the setup process and despite reading Publication 560 and watching a couple CPEs I still have a few questions regarding it.

If any of you fine folks have knowledge regarding this type of IRA could I ask just 15 minutes of your time to go over it with you?

My main question stems from after knowing the credit you receive for the IRA payment, do you simply pay whatever the credit amount is into the IRA? or do you pay what the contribution rate is?

I am pretty sure I know the answer, but I just wanted the opinion of someone more knowledgeable than I on this. Especially since TNT is gone sadly.

[For Hire] Art Deco Character Artist $30-120

HIRING ARTIST NOT FOR HIRE

Hello everyone,

I have a client looking for a specific artist who has a very good grasp of the Art Deco style similar to the minimalist style used in shows such as Batman the animated series, Superman, and Justice League Unlimited.

The commission itself will only be for character models from roughly waist or thigh up so no shins or feet needed. A weapon or two may be required aswell for the character.

IMPORTANT: The client explicitly only wants to work with US based artists. So if you are from any other country please do not apply.

Also if you apply you must be comfortable to speak over the phone or discord if you prefer to go over the specifics of the piece.

Portfolio listing your examples is also appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read. Let me know if you have any questions.

Edit: How embarrassing I meant this post to say [Hiring] not For Hire. I am looking for an artist everyone.
