Seats right in the action!

Primed piece of terrain ready to get painted! I wanted to build a piece of terrain that leaned into the fact that this is a spectator event.

Built a raised stand with seats from 3 school buses, two food trucks, and an ambulance to help them get to their high seats.

Can you think of anything else I should add before painting it up?

Any suggestions for the billboard?

The Black Chapel

This armored truck is the lead vehicle on a Beverly, devil of the highway team I am working on.

It is not coming along exactly how I would like but I am still happy with it. Some of the details are just so hard to pull off at this scale and my skill level.

First bus

I think this is close to complete but I want to add some damage and wear on the ram a bit.

What else should I work on to make this complete?

Truck bed trailer

I have always thought these were funny, so I'm working on one. Plus that leaves me a cab for another project.

Home made tires?

Has anyone made tires or treads?

I see plenty of 3D printed options, but I am curious if anyone has made tires in other ways.

I want to try and make some slightly larger than average off road tires for my cars, but I wanted to see if anyone had any tips or tricks before I started experimenting.

How long is your average game?

I have only played a few games so far and the games take longer than I expected they would.

I wanted to know how long your average games are, and if you have any tricks to speed them up?

I don't mind the long games, but it will be harder to get others to check it out.

Using the tarp effect

I saw a post this month where someone created a tarp effect using a paper towel. Another person mentioned using eye glasses cleaner. I went with the eye glasses cleaner.

I went with the eye glasses cleaner and maybe maybe added too much dirt. You decide.

Thanks for the inspiration.

How to stop terrain warping

My terrain is mostly flat, but the edges are sticking up a little bit.

How do I stop this from occurring in the first place?

Is there any way to fix the current pieces?

I hear tanks are not going to win races, but I'm excited to try this on the battlefield.

I primer these cars black and it was a struggle to get the yellow to look smooth. So they ended up with extra dirt to hide those crimes.

I would appreciate your feedback on painting. I'm still figuring things out.
