I want more time to do winter and summer stuff than 7 days. Is it a problem if I extend the length? Does anyone have them longer? What length did you pick?

So I had these two sims a man and a woman and they were practically soulmates for a long time and then suddenly whenever they chat I see the game auto-add mean interactions for one of them. Anyone know how to stop this?
