Bought a new place. Need help!
I need some ideas for my balcony. I’m planning to close it with sliding windows so I can turn it into a cozy reading room / small home office — basically a quiet “me-time” space.
The problem is the AC compressor setup. There’s a weird L-shaped technical area where it’s supposed to go, but I’m almost certain the compressor won’t fit there. So the only realistic option seems to be placing it inside the balcony itself (red rectangle in the photo).
I thought about hiding it with a wood cover or bench, but I’m worried the heat and noise would make the whole space uncomfortable and unusable.

Another idea I had was building a storage cabinet and placing the compressor on top of it (which would partially block the window).
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Any smart layout or design ideas for making this work without ruining the space?
