​I'm currently playing Crimson Desert on the MSI Claw 8 EX at 35W TDP and wanted to cross-check performance numbers with you guys—specifically without Frame Generation.

​My Settings

​Settings: Medium

​Upscaler: XeSS (Performance mode)

​Frame Generation: OFF

​Result: ~35–45 FPS

Tdp: 35w

​Why I'm asking:

I recently watched a benchmark video where, around the 5:15 mark, the tester was comfortably hitting 70+ FPS (without Frame Gen) according to their displayed settings. I'm nowhere near those numbers despite running at 35W.

What FPS are you getting without FrameGen

​Quick question for other MSI Claw EX owners:

​When I charge my handheld using a Lenovo 65W charger, the power brick gets pretty hot. The device itself also gets noticeably warm, even when I'm not playing anything.

​Is this normal for you too? Does your charger get really hot during charging, or should I be concerned about using this Lenovo charger?

Hey everyone,

​I’ve been noticing a weird issue with my MSI Claw EX 8 AI+ when shutting it down.

​When I click "Shut down" in Windows, the screen turns off. However, the fans keep spinning at a noticeable speed for a really long time— around 10 minutes—before the device finally powers off completely.

​Has anyone else experienced this with the new Claw 8 EX AI+?

Hey everyone,

​I received my MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ yesterday, but I’ve noticed a slight high-pitched whining / coil whine noise coming specifically from the left fan.

​It’s not super loud, but in a quiet room, it’s definitely noticeable and a bit annoying.

​Does anyone else have this issue with their unit, or is yours completely fine (aside from normal airflow)? Trying to figure out if this is common or if I should exchange it for a new one.
