My wife and I were thinking of taking our dog and heading down to the Illinois river for the memorial day weekend. Im wondering how crowded it gets. Im sure its busier than usual but

is it impossible to find a campsite?

Overran woth noisy people blasting music?

Do you locals generally just avoid it on the holidays?
