The Vinyl Transformation!
My E-Moto Vinyl Decals came today! And a dirty mirror from whatever bug I squashed. 🐛 Shout-out to Summit MX for personally reaching out to me to make sure he had it perfect!

How nobody had taken that yet is beyond me! Obviously I had to make the letter "O" a Zero, since they don't use the letter "O" on plates here. Stoked to receive it in the mail though! First and only person in the state with a Surron plated "SURR0N" 😆
I waited until it was accepted, plate created, and shipped out to me before posting here for obvious reasons.(be creative, there's other cool ideas out there too!)
The page is printed in black and white. But the left side background on the plate is red. Middle is white. And right side is blue. So you'll be able to see the lettering on it.
I get so many people at stoplights asking me what kind of bike it is, how much range, top speed, yada yada yada! So now all I have to tell them is "Google my license plate!"
I currently have the chi 81v80ah battery/xub80v2/x9000. This is on a registered, street legal ultra bee. On sumo's.
I like the way the ebmx ecosystem is very smooth and predictable, but it seems my top speed is about 75-80mph. I do also have the widest possible size sumo wheels that milk racing offers. (4.25 rear x 3.5 front). So im thinking the added weight on them could be playing a major factor here. Im currently running a 50t sprocket, I went up from 44 because I wanted more torque. I have my fw set to 50 or 60% battery amps at 400a. Phase amps at 900. Race 1 @20kw. Race 2 @30kw. Race 3 @40kw. Think i have throttle curve set to expo +1.0
Is 75-80mph pretty much the top end for this 81v system? Or is something else preventing me from reaching that higher full send speed? Forgot to add my rider size which is 5 9 and 135lbs
I dont know if this dude made it. Hope so. You can see where his head smashed against the windshield. Looks like a tuttio that went down. Theres one person in my area that i see every now and again riding one. Stay safe out there guys and girls!
Extremely cool addition! Projection turning signals!
So i updated my app firmware just now, and after setting up my tune to how i had it pre-update, the first thing i noticed is that my speedometer reading very inaccurate. I didnt use another app to test it because i was just going up and down the street one time. Speedometer showed like 30mph. And i was definitely going 50 at the very least. Yes i set up the gear ratio/wheel diameter correctly. Has anyone else had a similar issue after doing this update?
Side note: Setup is 2025 ultra/chi81v80ah/xub80v2
Because a lot of people sent me messages asking for pictures with the fender back on. Im so happy with the way it turned out. My car is going to start collecting dust! 🤣
Finally have my UB back after 2 long months of waiting for powder coating(they were backed up). Took these pictures before i had 100% finished the assembly. A definite challenge to reassemble everything. Some of the fittings were really hard to piece together because of the powder coating. Very happy with the outcome to say the least!
Added a baja squadron pro 2.0. also a complete titanium bolt kit including front and rear axle. Had to put my oem rear shock on for now because the shop hadnt finish putting the spring back on my sirris r46 rear before closing.
Just need to do some cockpit cleanup and we should be good to go!
Does anybody with more(or less) knowledge than me have any idea what "protect info: 47" indicates on ANT BMS? CHI pulsar 72v compact standard model.
Ill start off by giving my setup. Which is an ERP SS 3.0/chi pulsar 72v standard/x9000v3/XLB 60 Race motor. I am using a 125A breaker. I will cut to the chase and say that the INSTANT i flip that breaker to "on" i get "short circuit protect" on bms app. And the battery shuts off. I am not an electrician, but i tried using a multimeter to test resistance/continuity, amd apparently i am not doing something right. Because ebmx says my resistance readings arent normal. I tried using a different qs10p harness i had, thinking maybe it was the breaker/harness. And the SECOND i went to plug it in, i see smoke coming from the connector. Freaked me out to say the least
I tried using the beeping continuity mode on the controller + to -, and it shows OL. Which is a good thing if i understand correctly. Ive been out of commission for 3 days now. And im so frustrated because i dont even know where to start. Customer service with chi and ebmx both seem to be saying the fault is in the other company's product rather than helping.
I do all of my own work on my bikes when it comes to installing parts and all of that physical stuf. I have been able to solve every bike issue damn near on my own...but THIS....has me STUMPED and feeling absolutely hopeless!
Do they exist? If so, please point me in the right direction. All i see is for LBX ERP etc. Thanks!
My ERIDE PRO SS 3.0 is now officially street legal in Florida! The ONLY reason i got a temporary tag (instead of metal) is because of a small mistake on the odometer disclosure. I am bringing that back corrected in 2 weeks and getting the permanent plate.
No i did not use dirt legal.
No i did not have any VIN inspection done.
3 documents was all it took:
MCO (Manufacturer Certificate of Origin)
Odometer Disclosure Form
Bill of Sale.
Its always after a crash, when you hear your helmet scraping against the pavement, that you hear yourself thinking "thank God i was wearing my helmet"
Had a nice fall yesterday. I didnt see the giant lip where the sidewalk met the street, and because i was on sumos instead of knobs, i wasnt able to cross over and clear it. Just a few scrapes and a sprained wrist. But if i hadnt had my helmet on, i definitely wouldve been in the hospital. My bike is fine. Just scraped the brake reservoir, top of headlight assembly, and scraped the brake line to the point where the rubber is gone.
Oh, and my brand new air max 95s are now cooked.
My only complaint is that i ordered them almost 5 months ago. But DAMN this thing rides so nice with these wheels. The bike feels more stable, and the cherry on top is the brake squeals are now GONE After mounting these wheels(probably had caliper alignment issues with the CST supermotos)
Front rim: 17"x2.50
Front tire: 17"x100/80
Rear rim: 17"x3.00
Rear tire: 17"x110/80
Went Candy Black w/ the Candy Purple Hubs.
Cant forget to mention they showed some love for the extended wait time. Will have some fun on this while my ultra bee is being powder coated!
So i currently have a chi 72v pulsar(standard 45ah) battery on my eride pro 3.0(yes, i know its supposed to be for a lbx). However its all scratched up, and i just want a better fotting battery. That being said. Which chi battery would be best on a 3.0 for a mixed balance of speed/range. I was looking at the titan 72 compact pro. I like having the stock battery fit. If you can convince me that the giant camel hump doesnt look bad when running one of those taller batteries..by all means, please do.
Note: running x9000v3/XLB-60RACE Mainly on road
Ultimately i know its my choice at the end of the day. Just looking for some input.
Guy offering his 2025 UB with 200 miles on it for my fully built E RIDE PRO 3.0 that has Chi 72v/45AH/XLB60RACE/x9000v3/rfloxa hawk31max/rfloxa rear shock/UB Brakes/other misc upgrades. Both bikes pictured. He claims its for size reasons.
Things to keep in mind:
-i already own a fully built ultra bee.
-if i did the trade i would no longer own a midsize bike.
-i guess i figured the UB would be a quicker flip and then down payment a stark or something.
Only been stopped once before. And that was very much my fault. This time i wasnt riding erratic or anything. Im pretty sure im cooked being that its a motorcycle cop. Surron Gods Better pull thru for me! He seems alright so far. Probably helps that im over 30, and not 16! But i guess we will find out. As i was typing this, backup arrived. And now his bike wont start! Karma always comes back around full circle doesnt it? Lmfao
One must ALWAYS choose the gator skin. Finally pulled the trigger on a new seat cover. What a difference it makes when it comes to appearance. I know I couldve done better when installing it as far as tightness goes. But thats a task for another day..id still pick my ultra bee over my SUV on any day ending in the letter "Y". I also installed one of those "Tail Tidy" mods for the rear light/signals. For 20 bucks on ebay you really cant go wrong! The ride feel on this bike is 11/10 hands down. Help me choose my next upgrade!
