Testing a potential new daily driver pan

Testing a potential new daily driver pan

For a long time my daily drivers have been my DeBuyer 11" and 9" pans. I recently added the Misen 12" nitrided carbon steel pan and so far it's working well, although I see mixed reviews on here about it.

I recently added another new potential daily driver pan, the Proclad 10" hybrid non-stick, which is somewhat similar to Hexclad. They just launched this product and actually reached out to me to send me a free pan to test, and said I would be compensated for posting a review regardless of the content of the review.

***Disclaimer: I am not a product reviewer or influencer or wannabe, I'm just an old retired dude that does a lot of cooking and sometimes posts product reviews because I want to***. For example, the Misen pan I use I personally bought retail and got no compensation and have had no direct or indirect involvement with Misen, that review is here.

So, this review of the Proclad pan is exactly what I would have shared regardless of getting the free pan.

I've been using this Proclad pan for about a week and so far it's been virtually flawless. I cook on induction and it works fine. It is *very* non-stick, surpassing carbon steel thus far. It cooks like a carbon or stainless pan, nice crust when needed, nice browning, simmering acidic foods has not been an issue, and it cleans up with a wipe down and rinse out. It can go, and has gone, in the dishwasher, as the edges are sealed.

They claim to offer a lifetime warranty, but who knows. Thus far I like this pan and find myself reaching for it first, but I do have concerns about longevity and I haven't had it long enough to speak to that. I know the Hexclads are notorious for being not-well-loved by serious cooks (other than Gordon Ramsey, it seems), and I'll come back and update this review as time passes.

They have currently just launched their Kickstarter but not linking it here.

Can't successfully invite new web-only user

I'm trying to invite a new user to share my Arlo account, but they do not and cannot use the app, only the web.

In my account I go to sharing, I invite their email address, they receive the invitation, they click on the link, it asks them to create a new Arlo account, they do, after the account creation their only option is to create a new location, which they do, they create a new, blank location with a different name from mine.

Once they do this they are able to proceed and the invitation to share my Arlo account pops up, and they accept it. My location briefly flashes on the screen with devices showing and the progress indicator spins as it appears to be loading camera images.

Then, all of my info disappears and they are shown their own, blank location. My location does not appear in the location picker dropdown. In my account it shows they have successfuly accepted the invitation.

We've tried this five times now with 5 different email addresses, all with the same outcome.

Is it not possible to invite a web-only user to share an Arlo account? Are we going to have to, at least temporarily, setup a device with the app to successfully complete the invite process?
