Delete, replace sensor, or sell car?
I got a P2002 code a couple weeks ago, and the O’reilly veriscan suggested a new EGR pressure feedback sensor. It’s only a 56 dollar part but I was wondering with the price of diesel rn whether i should just delete.
I was also skeptical of whether a new sensor would even fix my issue. So i have a couple questions.
If i got the new sensor, would that allow my egr to regenerate and clean itself?
Would i be better off to delete in the long run?
The car has 131k miles on it and I am open to selling car, would deleting hurt my chances of selling the car for a good price? or trading it in?
I saw where someone said their dpf was able to be replaced for free because of a diesel gate extended warranty. I’m the second owner of this 2014 Jetta TDI, does anyone know if I would also be covered by this warranty?
