Silver precipitation gone wrong?

So I had a bar that I poured from silver contacts and wanted to refine it into purer silver to run through my silver cell. Ran it through a bunch of nitric boils until everything was dissolved. Added a bar of melted silver plated stuff to use up the rest of the free nitric before I added pure copper. It used up the nitric but then it turned into this thick milky blue substance. Is this silver chloride? I didn’t add any hydrofluoric acid so I don’t know how it could have formed

How long does used silver cell electrolyte last?

As the title says. Really just want to run one for fun but I’m wondering how long I can store “used” electrolyte before the silver and copper in it falls out of solution or if it will stay in solution for months?

Is there a way to estimate yield from a silver cell? Like I’ve been taking scrap silver I buy to a big name refiner and not trusting what their assay is coming out at and I wanted to set one up anyway for fun. But is there a way to tell when the silver in the anode basket is used up so I’m not just plating out the silver in the electrolyte or am I misunderstanding the process entirely?

Been buying sterling and selling to my local Elemetal refiner since they started taking silver again. The last two times the assay came in at 82.8% and 82.5%. The last time specifically I checked to make sure all the sterling was stamped with Italy 925. The fact they were exactly 10% below has me sketched out but don’t want to accuse them of anything unnecessarily
