My daughter back molar cracked due to it being weak from a cavity. The molar cracked in half and the nerve was exposed. We took her in to see her dentist and the dentist prescribed her antibiotics for the pain. The pain has went away after the course of antibiotics.

He says the tooth needs to be extracted BUT the next available appointment is June 19th when the pediatric anesthesiologist is in the office (they want to put her to sleep for the procedure) my question is… is it okay to wait that long? I’m concerned about the infection and it possibly spreading until then. Should I seek out to a different dentist??
